BIOTECHNICA BLAMED FOR PLAGUE AT DOCKSOur man on the spot Damian Day has reported this from inside the docks area today.Here in the middle of the NMK Docks there is an almost tangible feeling of violence in the air, with distinct undertones of fear. The fear is an almost primal fear of disease, everyone here knows at least one person who has contracted the plague over the past 24 hours. The violence is aimed at the military who are understandably on edge. I have today received information that the plague is artificial in nature, and has been foolishly been spread by a small group of radicals who broke into a secret Biotechnica lab hidden below a hunting lodge, a safe distance away from the city. They steal a medicine that is under development to cure a degenerative disease, destroying the lab and killing the scientists there in the process. A team of specially trained recovery officers was latter attacked, although my sources insist that the officers opened fire first, but Biotechnica deny this. Biotechnica then tried to recover the plague samples from the radicals by negotiation, unfortunately The group then opened fire, in the middle of the street, in broad daylight, on the Biotechnica staff who had gone to peacefully try and retrieve the, not yet finished and tested, medicine. One of the Biotechnica staffers managed to escape, the car riddled with bullet fire, but the other was captured and tortured. He was then taken to an unused warehouse in the Docks, where he was infected with the prototype. Unfathomably he was then killed and his body dumped into the river, where it was latter recovered by NMK HP. Unfortunately the officers who came into contact with the body latter became infected with the plague. This radical group then travelled around the city, with the potentially dangerous unfinished medicine, having dealings with suspected smugglers and general members of the public, one infected member of the group is suspected of entering a shop and buying a mobile phone, fortunately the salesperson who dealt with him has been placed into isolation at Biotechnica's NMK lab. Unsurprisingly, with the lack of care they've shown carrying it around the city, some of the other people they have had contact with are exposed to the experimental medicine, and may succumb to the unfortunate side-effects, which Biotechnica's scientists had been working hard to eradicate. Anyone who is worried about this must contact Biotechnica on the this number 163-810810. Later that day, the group broke into another Biotechnica lab, and killed some of the security guards, and managed to infect the others. The Biotechnica employees managed to escape in an AV4, but the radical group managed to hit the AV with an unknown weapon that managed to force the AV4 to crash land in the docks, further spreading the disease before the Biotechnica officers could be isolated. It seems that the harbour police, who had been assisting Biotechnica in finding these radicals, got the closest to them and have suffered the greatest exposure to the medicine. Here are pictures of the radicals, captured during their downtown attack on our employees. If you see them, do not approach. Call either the police department or the NMK Biotechnica office and given their location. Until apprehended, these radicals are a danger to the entire city. |
