About midday, Axe of God, downtown NMK, Friday the 12th of March, 2055.
It's taken us almost two hours to come up with something resembling a plan, but here's what we've got...
The idea is to get an AV-4, in military med-evac configuration, and get the pilot, also provided for us, to fly us straight to the Harbour Police headquarters. Once there we intend to present ourselves as a military medical team, of four medics plus two escorting 'ground-pounders'. And if you haven't already guessed which of us are going to play at being soldier, the two phrases "I didn't mean to kill him when I shot him in the head" and "Move along, move along, nothing to kill here" should help you out.
We've requested proper military uniforms and the necessary personal equipment to look convincing. Standard British military issue is a Militech Ronin Light Assault rifle and a Militech Arms Avenger for a sidearm, so that's what we'll be given. Additionally, the AV-4 will be carrying a single Militech Arms RPG-A just in case it comes in useful.
Also we've asked for ID that will pass a casual inspection and for some orders to be drawn up, enabling us to extract the infected members of the harbour police. The orders won't be 'bullet- proof' but they will hopefully get us through any simple checks.
To collect the equipment and meet the AV-4, we're to go to Biotechnica's main office at 19:30 this evening. The pilot will have orders to fly us to the Harbour Police HQ and wait for us to find the infected police officers and return to the AV-4. Presumably though, if things get too hot he'll be leaving with or without us.
Once we've got the infected officers aboard, preferably alive, he'll fly us all to the hunting lodge. If we know of any other infected people that we could pick up, depending on the circumstances of our previous departure from NMK (i.e. were we under heavy fire or not) we may be able to return and pick them up.
We know it's probably going to be another long night, so we head back to Shen's place to get some rest.
There's word on the streets that last night's disturbances were not as bad as everyone had feared, but that tonight will be much worse, particularly as the military opened fire on the 'rioters'. Anyone out 'rioting' tonight is liable to go armed if they didn't yesterday.
I contact my netrunning 'associate' to see if they can find a map of the police HQ. It comes as little surprise to me that they can and can even tell me where the infected officers are being held.
Having rested, we make our way to Biotechnica for 19:30. We're issued with temporary ID to allow us to move around the building, and led upstairs by a suit. We pass through a large covered hanger, with an AV-4 dressed in military medical fatigues 'parked' up in it.
A door off the hanger leads us into a room where we find all the uniforms and equipment we requested. We change, pick up our equipment and make our way out to the AV-4. Climbing in, we give a quick nod to the pilot and the door closes.
There's a gentle jolt and a feeling of moving upward confirmed by a look out the cockpit window, though as the engines aren't yet running at speed, the AV-4 must be being raised to the roof of the building. The movement stops and we can see we're on the roof. The pilot talks into his radio, spins up the engines and we're away...
